BAMS’s full form is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BAMS is an undergraduate degree program in Ayurveda and natural science. There are three BAMS govt colleges in Punjab affiliated with the National Council for Indian Medicine and Systems of Medicine (NCISM). It has a course duration of five and a half years.

Eligibility Criteria of Government BAMS College in Punjab
Candidates willing to pursue a BAMS degree need to clear the NEET entrance test. The minimum age of a candidate should be 17, and they must have passed the 12th standard with mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology and English. The NEET cut-off score for the BAMS course was the 50th percentile for general category and reserved category candidates have some relaxation.
